Cold Weather

Outside in Cold weather – Discretionary Guidelines

5 – 20 below – We normally go out for all recesses
20 – 25 below – We go out for some recesses or shortened periods depending on wind factor
25 – 30 below – Indoor recesses

Please ensure that your child is properly dressed for outdoor play.

Due to supervision, children can not remain inside for recess if they are sick. If your child is too sick to go out for 15 minutes of fresh air, then he/she is too sick to be at school.
