Our students participate in a number of Special Activities, many of them out of school and funded from the profits of our fundraising activities like weekly bingo, weekly pizza, subs and milk sales.
During the year, students will be exposed to a variety of learning experiences, both in as well as out of the school. These may include sporting events, cultural activities or theatrical presentations. Notices of activities and appropriate permission slips will be distributed prior to the events. All permission forms must have the child’s health card number on it, the teacher or the office does not have time to enter missing health card numbers. In each event, please ensure that the permission slip is signed and returned to the school promptly. Permission slips not returned by the day previous to the event will result in the student not participating in the activity. Parent notes are NOT acceptable. Students who do not have a completed form will be invited to participate in educational activities in another class until his/her class returns from the excursion.
No child will be exempt from a school excursion due to financial restraints. We want all children to participate in all educational learning opportunities.
Our school has an excellent reputation for its supportive parents, and we look forward to the excellent volunteers’ continued assistance with school activities and initiatives. Unfortunately, siblings are not allowed to participate in school excursions.
