School Council

Westmount Avenue Public School has an active School Council that provides input for a variety of school initiatives. The group acts as an advisory body that works collaboratively within the school community to develop strategies and solution to enhance the development and educational experiences of all students.

To support education at Westmount Avenue Public School, the School Council’s priorities are:

  • Healthy Schools
  • Community Building
  • Re-greening and schoolyard improvement
  • Communication
  • Fundraising and Special Events

Please view the monthly calendar and newsletter for the next School Council meeting. Parents are always welcome to attend, although only those on the Council may vote.
